This is me and my mother…my soulmate. Her name is Bojana – the colorful one on Serbian.

 

And she is indeed the woman who shines with all the beautiful colors of life. But her shine is fading away, just as she was beginning to enjoy the biggest role in life – being a grandmother to beautiful baby Teodora. As life would have it, in late October she was diagnosed with lung adenocarcinoma, metastasis on lymph nodes and bones.

Dear friends, my mother still has so much to give and she is ready to fight for her life against the odds. She still feels OK, full of life and joy, and I strongly believe that she can continue thriving in spite of her diagnosis.
