Help Boi Boy get to Grad School

Hello,

I'm Boi Boy. I've been a Kansas City artist and performer all my life. With a heavy heart, I sadly say that I am leaving the city but not the community that helped shape me into who I am today. It's time for me to move on to the next big adventure. I'm excited to say I have been accepted into Tyler's School of Art and Architecture in Philadelphia for their graduate sculpture program.

This next phase of my life and career path is based on my joy and passion for teaching. At the Art Institute, I had many inspirations and passionate professors and mentors that helped shape me into the artist I am today.

I was honored in 2021 to be allowed to start teaching at the Art Institute as a guest lecturer in the Fiber department. This opportunity truly reignited my love of art and my desire to be an educator.

That's why I'm leaving for grad school to become a better artist and educator so I may continue the lineage of knowledge that so many amazing people have shared with me.

As difficult as it is to ask for help, I need support on my journey. The semester is starting soon, and I need financial assistance to help with moving costs, housing, and settling.
