Get Bodine HS Robotics to FIRST Championships in Houston!

We are 9416 International ϴperatives of World Affairs (I.ϴ.W.A.), Bodine High School's FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) Team. This is our Rookie year in joining FRC and we’re headed to the FIRST Championships in Houston, TX!

We are a diverse team of 15 9th through 12th graders representing the William W. Bodine High School for International Affairs in Philadelphia, PA. We are an urban, public magnet school in the School District of Philadelphia and part of the Philadelphia Robotics Coalition. Prior to this season, we’ve competed for Bodine for 5 years as FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) Team 12308, Ambassadors Robotics before making the jump this season to FRC.

So far this season, we’ve won the Rookie All-Star Award at the Springside Chestnut Hill Qualifier and the Rookie Inspiration Award at the Bensalem Qualifier. We just won the Rookie All-Star Award at the Mid-Atlantic District Championships and now we’re excited to be moving on to the world stage! We've learned a lot so far as we've discovered all the wonders of FRC and all the expenses too. We are hoping to raise $20,000 to pay for travel expenses for our team’s students, coaches, and mentors as well as necessary equipment and supplies for our robot. Anything beyond our fundraising goal will go towards growing and supporting our team’s future (such as purchasing additional robot parts or tools).
