Boden is a fighter! He was born on October 10th with Tretalogy of Fallot, a combination of four congenital abnormalities including a ventricular septal defect (VSD), pulmonary valve stenosis, a misplaced aorta and a thickened right ventricular wall (right ventricular hypertrophy).

He was initially stable and in the CICU (cardiac intensive care unit), and had open heart surgery on October 16th where a BT shunt was placed and the pulmonary artery was repaired. He has since been placed on an echmo machine, and because of some post-op complications, Boden needs extra help and support as they try to oxygenate his blood, decrease his swelling and ultimately try to close his chest (which they weren't able to do after the surgery due to the amount of swelling and other issues). 

Not only is the emotional stress of this situation overwhelming, but so is the financial stress. Boden's amazing parents, Jared and Audrey, are constantly driving over an hour from their home in Santaquin to Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City, UT, all while trying to balance work and home life with their 5 year old son who can't wait to meet his baby brother, as well as being there for Boden.

We want to give them a little less to worry about and help cover as much of Boden's medical costs as we possibly can.
