Bobby is a friend to everyone, an incredibly kind soul who's had an unfathomably hard year, even by 2020 standards. He already had health struggles for which he takes multiple medications, including for seizures, as well as dealing with a missing spleen and partial lung loss from sarcoidosis. 

Despite these obstacles, he has been able to keep his head above water and still be extremely upbeat. But recently, he unexpectedly lost his beloved mother. That has taken a tremendous toll on him both emotionally and financially. 

Then right after THAT, Bobby was diagnosed with cardiomyopathy. He has Level One heart failure, and it is only pumping at 30% right now. To combat this, he has to take the drug Ernestro which in addition to having very uncomfortable side effects is $700 and not covered by insurance. 

But he literally needs it to live. Right now he is working when he should be resting due to having no financial choice, and it still is far from enough. His mother's passing has left him with nowhere to live and now he's scrambling to find a temporary place, all while knowing that losing the expensive Ernestro would basically be a death sentence. He is only 45 years old. 

His friends want to make sure Bobby can stay afloat while he figures out a more permanent living situation, all while keeping his crucial medication. Which he will -- he is a fighter and a survivor. But right now he needs help and that help could truly save his life.
