Many may know us as retired entertainers living with our beloved dogs and good crazy folks who call San Carlos home. On Tuesday Bobby had to be hospitalized for an infection around his pacemaker. He is good hands at Guadalupe Pabellon getting IV antibiotics to prevent endocarditis which can be fatal. Yes, this is the pacemaker implanted a mere 9 months ago. Will need to be replaced in a location that requires cardio thoracic surgery at hospital in Obregon. Last April was an emergency situation when his five year old pacemaker failed completely. It was necessary to max out our credit card and default on the payment. Thank God we had it! Bobby didn’t want to worry me and ignored the swelling until it ulcerated. Happened fast! Current pacemaker still has years of battery life but can’t be reused. Will donate to veterinarian as can be recycled for dogs. Another Thank God is we are in Mexico where the cost is $18,000 total. For Bobby and I it might as well be 18 million! Liquidating stocks and savings but still coming up short. Hence why I am posting a Go Fund Me.
