I am humbly asking for help. I do not like asking for help or handouts, however, the last year plus has been rough. We have all had a weird year with the Covid epidemic and my current situation has added to the stress in my life. Here is the breakdown.
On November 5, 2019, I had surgery on my foot to try and stop an infection that had gotten to my bone. After several surgeries to try and stop it and mounting unbearable pain, we elected to cut off my leg to stop the spread and pain. It's called a BKA or Below The Knee Amputation.
After months of recovery I learned to walk again. Not as great as before but better. I had California State Disability for the time I was recovering which helped pay the basic bills. That ran out November 2020.
What I did not know during his time is that a blood clot had traveled to my heart and caused all kinds of havoc. I had CHF which clarified my exhaustion, lack of sleep, bad coughing and all around lack of energy. It almost killed me. I found all this out around the end of November 2020.
From all the tests the doctors did on me, the dye used blew out my kidneys and now I am on Dialysis 3x a week.
I'm doing better now (Health Wise) but have not worked since my first surgery in 2019. I need help paying bills until I can get up and running again. I put in for Social Security benefits that have been taking many months and still no verdict.
It just keeps getting better! However, I have hope that God's grace has not brought me this far for no reason.
My sister has been very kind enough to let me stay with her until things get better. I want to be of service to others and need help getting there. She pays for almost everything and I need to help her with the monthly bills. Without her I would be homeless and on the streets.
I have tried many avenues to get financial help. The California State says NO, and other organizations can not help.
If you can help, Thank you so much. Peace be with you.
