Help Bobby & Laura with damages from Flooding
On September 1,2021 NYC was hit with one of the worst flooding and natural disasters it has seen since Hurricane Sandy. No one was prepared for the amount of families that would suffer irreparable damages because of the harsh rain and catastrophic floods. One of those families happens to be Bobby and Laura Flores.
Residing in Queens and in the same apartment for more than 35years they have seen there fair share of damage that flooding can do but nothing compared to the amount of damage that Ida’s remnants would cause them. Everything they have worked so hard for in the past 35years is gone, destroyed and damaged. Nothing at this point can be salvaged everything owned has now become a memory of what previously existed in that home. Clothes, shoes, food, furniture has all been destroyed as water was more than 3ft high. Luckily they were able to seek shelter alongside their neighbors but only were able to leave with the clothes on their backs.
To know Bobby and Laura is to know that they would do anything to help others in times of need and we are asking that we now help them as best we can. Bobby and Laura are both retired any bit will help them to stay afloat and replace whatever they can to rebuild a new home and life that now must start over.
We are hopeful that in a time of need everyone can come together to help their loved ones and friends in need through small acts of kindness.
Thank you anything will be greatly appreciated.
