Hi everyone, my name is Hannah! I’ve started this fundraiser for my dad, Bobby. We found out just recently that my dad has pulmonary fibrosis from all of his years working around chemicals at his job. He has worked in construction and home improvement for over 30 years to help provide for his family and disabled wife. Yesterday he had his first appointment with his new pulmonologist and the prognosis was not what we expected… they said that his lungs are progressing much faster than they expected and that he is eligible for hospice if we aren’t able to get him on a transplant list soon.

Unfortunately my dad has no insurance/disability and has not been able to work in over 3 months now.. we are trying to get him those things but they won’t be in affect for a few months and he doesn’t have anytime to wait. My siblings and I have been paying for their bills/medical expenses up until this point but with his new diagnosis things just got a whole lot more expensive. We will be traveling to Dallas back and forth to do testing/medical evaluations to get him put on a list and hopefully get him a transplant and we just don’t have time to wait for insurance to kick in so I’m asking for y’all’s help getting him the treatment he deserves. He has spent his entire life taking care of everyone around him and has been his own wife’s caretaker for many years but now it’s his turn to let us take care of him.

We haven’t lost faith yet, our God is much bigger than any medical diagnosis and my Dad is a fighter! He wants to keep fighting and we aren’t ready to lose our dad.
