Update on Bobby
Bobby has successfully had his surgery, and we cannot thank you enough for all of the generous donations that helped make it possible. Your support has meant the world to us—we truly wouldn’t have been able to do this without you.
At this point, the only thing left is getting Bobby to his follow-up appointment. If we’re able to cover those final costs before the GoFundMe hits its goal, we’ll go ahead and close the fundraiser.
We’re overwhelmed with gratitude and blown away by the love and kindness so many of you have shown. Thank you again, from the bottom of our hearts.
Right now, our focus is on helping Bobby heal and get back to feeling like himself. He will need to stay on a prescription vet diet moving forward, as this is a lifelong condition. It’s really important that he only eats his prescribed food, so we’ll be extra careful with that going forward.
Thank you again for being part of Bobby’s journey. Your kindness has given him a second chance.
Bobby is our beloved family dog, and he means the world to us—especially to my son, who relies on Bobby as his emotional support companion. We brought Bobby home in February 2024 after my son’s therapist recommended a dog to help with his mental health. Since then, Bobby has become an irreplaceable part of our family, bringing happiness and comfort to my son and all of us. The bond between them is truly special, and Bobby is more than just a pet—he’s a family member, lovingly called our “grand pup.”
Recently, I noticed Bobby was having trouble urinating and seemed uncomfortable, shaking and not acting like himself. After rushing him to the ER vet, we learned he has bladder stones and urgently needs surgery to remove them. The vet stressed that this is an emergent situation, and the surgery can’t wait. I’ve reached out to multiple vets, but the cost is the same everywhere, and his regular vet couldn’t fit him in. I’ve managed to save some money toward the surgery, but I still need help covering the remaining expenses so Bobby can get the care he needs as soon as possible.
Bobby has given so much to our family, especially to my son, and now he needs our help. Any support will go directly toward his surgery and recovery, giving him the chance to get back to his happy, loving self. Thank you for reading our story and for any help you can offer.
