Peace and love, family! My name is Bobby. I am a full-time music teacher and trumpet player, and last year I received a dental diagnosis that devastated my world and career.

It all started when I bit into an oxtail bone in 2022. My front tooth became loose, and it became extremely difficult to play my trumpet. By January 2025, it wasn’t just my front tooth. I had tooth and nerve pain throughout my upper row and could no longer apply enough pressure to play my horn without pain.

I made the decision to switch to a digital trumpet. While this helped me build a new skill set, it cost me greatly. I lost many bookings and jobs. I’ve spent 20 years honing my original sound, and now I haven’t heard it in over a year.

I was able to see a dentist, and I was told that I have a hereditary gum disease called periodontitis. My only option was to pull the teeth and replace them with dentures, as dental implants were WAY out of my price range. Since then, I have been struggling to gather funds to get this done as soon as possible. However, after a year of exploring financing options and making payments, I am still far from my goal.

In that year, I have lost a total of 5 more teeth, and currently have 3 of my remaining 7 loose, making it more difficult to sing, speak, and even eat. If there is anything you can spare, I would be eternally grateful. Please help me get my sound and my smile back.
