Help Bobby G with Hospital Bills and Recovery

Hi everyone,
My name is Bob Gironda. My family and friends call me Bobby, my karaoke friends call me Bobby G. and my drum and bugle corps friends call me “Vito”.
Music has always been a big part of my life!
I have played the baritone since I was 13 years old. I was a member of the Bayonne Bridgemen from 1969 to 1977. I then became a member of the New York Skyliners in 1978 and joined the New York Skyliners Alumni in 1995. I have been in Drum Corps for the last 50 years.
In addition to playing a musical instrument, I love to sing. In my free time, you can find me singing Karaoke, which has always brought me great joy.
I have met so many lifelong friends through my musical interests, and I cherish each and every one!
I am writing this now because I am in a desperate situation.
I lost my job 4 years ago and therefore lost my health insurance coverage. Insurance costs being what they are, I could not afford to get coverage. I started my own car service business and I have a nice list of customers that keep me busy J
However, this last month I developed a wound on my right foot, which
became infected and spread to my bone. I had to have emergency surgery on my right foot on Thursday Feb. 7 to remove the infection and infected tissue. My white blood count remained very high, meaning that there was still some infection in my foot. I had to have another surgery Monday Feb. 12 in which the doctor removed more infection and tissue and part of the bone in my foot that was infected. The doctor feels that he got the infection, and now we have to wait for the blood work to see if the infection is starting to clear. I will be in the hospital for at least another week, after which, I will need care at home for a wound vac and a picc line that they inserted for IV antibiotics. When I get home, I will need a nurse to administer IV antibiotics and other medical care.
Because of my health issues, I am unable to work and bring in an income for my wife and myself.
I am asking my friends and family and their friends and family to help me during this desperate time in my life. I am a proud man, and those of you who know me well know, I would not ask if I was not in desperate need of HELP.
