Help Bobby Dye's Home Adaptation
Donation protected
Hello, I'm Sonia Dye and I'm trying to raise money to offset expenses for my brother, Bobby Dye and his wife Sheila. Bobby found out that he had a malignant brain tumor and was requested to immediately come to the hospital for surgery just three days later. By the grace of God, the doctor was able to get as much of the cancer as they could without causing paralysis or permanent brain damage. He will have to endure chemo and radiation to take care of the rest. Since this is an aggressive form of cancer, time is of the essence. Bobby is out of the hospital and staying with his in-laws who, along with his wife, are taking excellent care of him. In his condition, staying there is conducive to his recovery because of their home demographic.
Before Bobby can return to his own home, some adjustments need to be made. Bobby is currently on disability due to prior health conditions and cannot afford the modifications needed. He needs a ramp built to enable him to enter his house. He needs a specialized walker. He needs his shower adapted to where he can sit and shower comfortably along with toilet modification. There is a need for safety rails in various locations. I am currently unable to help at the moment due to my employment situation. Everyone that knows me should know that I wouldn't ask for anything that isn't necessary. Everyone that knows Bobby knows that he's still the shy, timid person he used to be and wouldn't ask anyone. Any donation will be helpful and greatly appreciated. His doctor wants him to avoid stress at all costs to prevent brain bleeds which could promote the growth and spreading of the remaining cancer. I don't want him or Sheila worrying about this. So if you can, please help me help her to be able to bring Bobby home. Thank you and God bless.
