Help Bring Bobby Connell Home
Fundraising Goal: $50,000
All funds raised will go directly toward essential home accessibility renovations and
transportation needs.
Organized by Judy Conway and Traci Schaake in
Bobby Connell is a lifelong member of the Hampton, New Hampshire community. He began
working at Hampton Beach at just 14 years old, like many local kids who take on summer jobs
along the beach.
Bobby later pursued his education and became a successful auto mechanic. He is the son of
Todd Connell, a longtime Sysco representative who has supported Seacoast businesses for
many years and is well known for his dedication to the community.
On November 8, 2025, Bobby was involved in a devastating accident and was rushed to
Portsmouth Hospital, where he underwent emergency surgery. He was later transferred to
Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital in Boston. As a result of his injuries, Bobby is now paralyzed
from the neck down.
Despite this life-altering challenge, Bobby is working incredibly hard in rehabilitation and
continues to face each day with determination.
To bring Bobby home safely, his family must complete extensive modifications to their house,
including a wheelchair-accessible ramp, widened doorways, major bathroom renovations with
a handicapped-accessible shower, and transportation-related accessibility needs.
The Connell family cannot do this alone. We are asking friends, family, coworkers, and
community members to help make it possible for Bobby to return home safely and with
dignity. Any donation—no matter the size—will make a meaningful difference for Bobby and
his parents, Sue and Todd Connell.
