Help Bobby arrive at his forever home

Hello, my name is Erik and I fell in love with a rescued stray called Bobby. I’ve always loved cats, especially black cats, and seeing Bobby recover from his hit & run made me want to do my part by providing Bobby, an adult FIV+ black cat who would normally go un-adopted, a chance at a happy life full of love & care.

The only issue is that I am unemployed due to an incurable autoimmune disease, much like Bobby himself, so I don’t earn nearly enough to cover the cost of Bobby’s transportation bill. As you can see from the images, the rescue service Bobby is currently with work with a transportation service and can bring him to Calais, France in early October. I cannot possibly make this trip, I don’t have the money for it. So I am looking to hire a second service who have given me the quote (the email screenshot I’ve uploaded) to have him transported from Calais to the UK where I will be able to bring him home!

Any additional costs will be put toward his vaccinations and pet passport as explained to me in the rescue service’s message, I will also need to get him immediately registered with my vet & pay for his microchipping and pet scheme.

I wish I could save all cats in the world. But something about Bobby feels incredibly special to me, and would give me back a sense of animal companionship that I tragically lost. I want to help at least one cat in the world, and if I could give Bobby a happy home in a world where he would normally be overlooked and forgotten, I will be forever grateful!
