Bobbi and I have been friends for over 50 years, sharing countless memories and supporting each other through life’s ups and downs. Last year, I faced my own cancer diagnosis, but thankfully mine was noninvasive. Bobbi, however, is now battling a very invasive cancer and will go through more than 20 weeks of treatment. It’s going to be hard enough for her to get through all these treatments, and I don’t want her to have to worry about the upcoming bills that are not covered by insurance. She has a loving husband, Rick, two beautiful children, Katie and Kyle, and six grandchildren who she adores.

As we all know, a lot of medicines are not covered by insurance, and the out-of-pocket expenses are just starting. Bobbi has to go to treatment once a week with her daughter by her side, helping her get through this terrible situation. This fundraiser will help ease the stress put on Bobbi and her family during this very difficult time, allowing them to focus on her health and well-being instead of financial worries.

A lot of us on Facebook grew up in small town, Hilliard, where everyone knew everyone. I hope you remember those days and can find it in your heart to help this small town girl get through this difficult time. Bobbi is my dearest friend, and I need her by my side for many more years. But her loving family needs her even more!
