Hello! My name is Danny. The adorable fella in the picture is Boba. One of our roommates found him in the rain near our home, so of course we took him in and got him cleaned up.

A trip to the vet revealed that he is about 5 years old, he’s around 10-15 lbs underweight and has a serious eye infection because of a chronic condition called Keratoconjunctivitis. Essentially it’s dry eye for dogs.

It’s so bad that he can’t really see whats around him, though fortunately he’s healthy otherwise. He walks into things constantly but just shrugs it off, wags his tails and goes about his day. He’s a super sweet boy who has TONS of love to give and we want to give him that love. He just needs a chance.

We were instructed to bring him to Animal Services where they would provide all the care he needed and we could adopt him through them. We found out this was not the case we’re told upon arriving that our friend would likely be euthanized within a week. Well, we turned around and left. There was no way we could leave him there. Not after what we went through saving him.

We want to give this guy a great home but we need a little help to cover his medical costs as he needs quite a bit done at the vet, as well as costly medications.

He currently needs to be neutered, needs full vaccinations, 3 different medications for his eye condition as well as monthly medication after the eye infection clears up and general supplies and cleaning. All funds, would go directly to helping get Boba ready to live in a house again.
