On September 21, 2021, Bob’s life changed forever. He had his lower left leg amputated due to a relentless infection that would have otherwise taken his life. After battling this infection for months and having his health severely compromised by contracting COVID-19 in the hospital, he made a decision that no one should have to make.

Now, Bob faces the start of a new chapter in his life. He is facing this challenging and uncertain chapter with incredible courage, determination, and his signature sense of humor that those in his orbit know all too well. We want to make sure he is equipped for what comes next with the tools he needs to live a full and productive life with his wife and 13-year-old son.

The world of prosthetics is an expensive one, and insurance will only take him so far. So, we are reaching out to ask that you consider contributing any amount, no matter how small. We want him to be able to climb the bleachers at his son’s football games to cheer him on, to make his way around the kitchen to cook baked ziti for his family, to live independently and with confidence.

Over the years, we have watched him offer unwavering support to the people in his life in so many ways. He is, in every sense of the phrase, the guy who will show up for you. Now it is our chance to show up for him and shower him with the love and support he deserves and needs at this juncture in his life.

It may be a bumpy road ahead, and we want to make sure Bob has the legs to walk it.
