Meet Bob, affectionately known as Squash — a sweet, resilient cat who’s been through so much yet still greets everyone with a gentle purr. After multiple vet visits for recurring ear infecti

ons, a head tilt, and several rounds of antibiotics, Bob has recently begun struggling to eat due to severe ear pain, and he’s started losing weight. Following a CT scan and additional testing, we finally have answers and a treatment plan — but we need your help to make it happen.

What We Found

Bob’s CT scan revealed serious disease in his right ear and surrounding area.

Here’s what the findings showed:

“The clinical signs are attributed to disease within the right tympanic bulla through the nasopharynx, consistent with an inflammatory nasopharyngeal polyp, secondary septic bulla osteitis, and partial obstruction of the nasopharynx.”

The scan also showed early changes on the left side likely caused by the same issue. These painful conditions make it difficult for Bob to eat or feel comfortable, surgery is the only way to relieve his pain and help him recover.

What’s Next

Bob is scheduled for surgery on Monday, October 27, 2025 at Stitches Veterinary Surgery.

• CT Scan: $2,500 (already completed)

• Surgery Estimate: $6,085.00

For a total of $8,585.00

The rescue group is covering the full cost up front, but we’re asking for help to raise funds to cover these expenses and recoup the CT costs. Payment for surgery is due the day of the procedure, and all money raised will go directly toward these medical bills.
