Help Bob & Rose Meredith Rebuild Their Lives After a Devastating Fire
My name is Sabrina and I’m the granddaughter of Bob and Rose Meredith. On July 5, 2025, our world changed forever when their home was tragically lost in a fire leaving them with nothing. Their home of decades, filled with memories and cherished belongings, was completely destroyed. Thankfully, they escaped unharmed, but now they’re facing immense challenges.
A Legacy of Giving:
Bob and Rose have always embodied generosity. From opening their doors to struggling friends and family, to helping anyone they possibly could, their kindness has left a lasting impact. They've been the first to step up whenever someone needed a warm meal, a couch to sleep on, or just emotional support.
The Challenges They’re Facing:
• Temporary housing: Thankfully, family has arranged short-term shelter, but this comes with its own financial strain.
• Everyday essentials: They need clothing, bedding, cookware, furniture, and personal items—everything they once owned is gone.
• Mobility support: Due to Bob’s severe mobility issues, they urgently need an accessible ramp and a safe porch for him to enter and enjoy the outdoors.
• Lost vehicle: Rose had just purchased a new car that was also destroyed in the fire. Replacing it is crucial for their independence.
• Medical expenses: all medicines and other medical items were destroyed.
• Long-term rebuilding: Beyond immediate needs, they need to start rebuilding a safe, accessible home where they can age in place.
Why Your Support Matters
• Immediate relief: Your donation will help them secure essential items clothing, shoes, hygiene products, and household goods.
• Accessibility & dignity: Building a ramp and porch ensures Bob can move safely and enjoy fresh air without danger.
• Restoring independence: Replacing Rose’s car helps them regain freedom and mobility.
• Rebuilding their home: Funds will contribute to architectural and construction costs, especially accessible features like wide doorways and grab bars.
What Makes This Campaign Urgent
• The fire not only destroyed their belongings—it dismantled the life they built together.
• With Bob’s mobility challenges, rebuilding isn’t just about comfort it’s about basic safety and quality of life.
• Time is critical: the longer they wait, the harder it becomes to replace essential supports and housing.
Our Goal
We hope to raise $75,000 to cover:
• $10,000 for temporary housing and daily essentials
• $15,000 for a vehicle replacement
• $20,000 for accessibility renovations (ramp, porch, grab rails)
• $30,000 towards rebuilding materials and labor
Join Us in Restoring Hope
These are the people who have always given so much. Today, it’s our turn to give back. Every gift, whether $10 or $500 brings Bob and Rose one step closer to rebuilding their lives. Please consider donating and sharing their story. Thank you!
