My name is Bob, and I am reaching out during one of the most challenging times of my life. I am about to have gender confirmation surgery, a step I have been working toward for a long time. Unfortunately, just as I was preparing for this important moment, everything seemed to go wrong at once. My motor home, which is both my vehicle and my house, has had a series of breakdowns—the radiator and brakes started leaking, the check engine and wrench lights came on, and the auxiliary batteries died. At the same time, the refrigerator won’t switch between electric and gas, and the oven won’t stay lit. To make matters worse, I recently discovered unexpected deductions from my paycheck, which have quickly depleted my savings.

I have been doing my best to keep up, but these setbacks have left me feeling overwhelmed and worried that I might have to cancel my surgery yet again. The funds I raise here will go directly toward fixing my motor home and will help cover my living expenses while I recover from surgery.
