Bob is my ASL teacher and a true friend. At 68 years old, he has dedicated his life to teaching and supporting others, always offering a helping hand or a listening ear. Recently, Bob has faced a series of unimaginable challenges. He suffered a concussion, and not long after, discovered a massive 20-pound beehive hidden in the walls of his home, which he had to have removed. Just as he was recovering from these events, tragedy struck—Bob’s house caught fire. In the chaos, he lost everything he owned, and heartbreakingly, his beloved pet cat passed away from smoke inhalation.
Bob is deaf, but that has never stopped him from being a mentor, a friend, and a source of strength for so many people, including me. Now, in his time of need, I want to be there for him as he has always been there for me. The funds raised will help Bob find a new place to live and replace the clothes and essentials he lost in the fire. Every donation, no matter the size, will make a real difference in helping Bob rebuild his life.
If you’re able to help, please consider supporting Bob. Your kindness and generosity will mean the world to him, and to all of us who care about him. Thank you for reading Bob’s story and for any support you can give.
