Help Bob Breen Overcome ‘Double Hit’ Lymphoma
Donation protected
In May 2024, Robert (Bobby) Breen was diagnosed with Diffuse large B-cell ‘Double Hit’ Lymphoma. This is a rare and very aggressive form of lymphoma. He is a 62-year-old daddy, dad, grandfather, son, brother, friend, and companion who is struggling to pay medical expenses.
Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) is the most common type of aggressive lymphoma and is treatable.
Because DLBCL grows and spreads quickly it’s being treated aggressively. Treatment is currently planned for 24 hours a day via a portable pump, 5 days per week, with 2 weeks off between treatments. He will need many diagnostic tests to monitor his progress through out the process. He is expected to undergo 6-8 rounds.
He tolerated his first week of chemotherapy well, and his symptoms seemed to have improved. But as soon as the pump came off, symptoms came right back.
We know that it will be a bumpy ride, but the medical debt is increasing quickly and causing him stress that negatively affects his progress.
Thank you for reading his story, any prayers or donations would be welcomed.
