Pembroke and Area Get Bob Out of the Cold!
0% complete
$3,500 CAD goal
We'd like to take a moment to thank everyone for their efforts to help Bob. We spoke with him today, and he asked that the donations be refunded. We apologize for the haste in setting up the GoFundMe, and for not speaking with him beforehand. As Bob put it, "I try to be discreet, but clearly I'm failing."
Bob was concerned that people might think this was a scam, and he didn't want to be the cause of any skepticism. He's actually well-stocked and has been turning down items, so he's grateful for the thought but doesn't need anything at this time.
However, Bob wants to encourage you to keep helping others who may need it more than he does. He values kindness and discretion, and hopes you'll continue to support those in need.
On a lighter note, Bob mentioned that he doesn't kill mosquitoes, and suggested that we should plant sunflowers to make people smile instead. We think that's a great idea! Let's keep spreading kindness and brightening someone's day.
Thank you again to everyone who came together to help. It was heartwarming to see so many people come together to make a difference .

Hi friends! Myself Emily, and my friend Cheryl, are reaching out to the community with a heartfelt request. Many of us in Pembroke and area know of Bob, who's currently facing a tough reality - living in a tarp outside the fence by Tim Hortons Robinson. It's hard to imagine anyone in our community struggling like this, especially during these cold winter months ahead.
That's why we've started a crowdfund to help Bob get out of the cold and into a warm, safe place. We've all been through tough times, and it's moments like these that show us the power of community and kindness.
We're proud to be part of a community that cares so deeply about its members, and we know that together, we can make a real difference in Bob's life.
Let's come together to help Bob get the help he deserves. Every donation, big or small, will bring us closer to our goal. Let's show Bob that he's not alone and that our community cares.
Thank you for your kindness and support!
