Hi all. My dad, Bob, was diagnosed last month with stage 2 esophagus cancer. He began treatment on January 13. As you know, my dad lost my mom this last summer. And with that passing, her pension as well. So my dad went back to work to ensure ends would meet. Now he will be not working while going through chemotherapy, with the goal of surgically treating the cancer. My sister and I will certainly be helping. But l’m attempting to take as much financial pressure as I can from him for the next several months as he battles this- it became apparent today this challenge is definitely not within his financial ability to manage. All funds will be used for copays and deductibles, and defray his living expenses.  Anything that is left will be donated to Ronald McDonald house to assist other families with expenses as they seek to battle and treat this disease.
