Bob Meador's Funeral Expenses

Donation protected
Update - 2/10/26 - Thank you all for your donations, prayers, and personal reach outs to the Meador family. The final cost for Bob's funerals are close to being met. They need $4,500 to finish paying for his total funeral expenses. If any organizations or individuals can pray over this desperate need, the Meador family would be appreciative to not have this financial burden for Bob expenses. Blessing to you all!

**Update** on 1/25/26 at approximately 7:15pm, Bob passed away and went home to be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

He has fought hard over the last 26 years since his diagnosis and over the last 6 months in hospice. He is now at rest and with his Mom.

Details on arrangements will follow in the coming days.

If you are able and feel led to do so, we could use assistance in covering the funeral costs.

Hi, my name is Jeff Wood. I am good friends with Bob Meador, and his brother, Dave Meador. First, let me tell you Bob, being a Eagle Scout himself, has been a huge Boy Scouts supporter through many years of his life. He had a HUGE passion for helping young men in this area and serving as Scout Leader for several years. He also supported the Sea Scouts. Bob also had a passion for prison ministry, serving on teams at Pendelton Correctional Facility through KAIROS prison ministry. I personally witnessed Bob give his testimony to 45 inmates and he was able to connect with them spiritually.
We all know Bob loves God and has a personal relationship with Jesus. This could be seen in Bob's daily life.
As many of you know, Bob has dealt with a brain tumor for many years of his life. This journey started for him in 2000. He had chemo and radiation following a craniotomy in February 2000. This put him in a situation where he had to stop working and went on disability. The obstacles didn't stop there. In 2017, he encounter a subdural hematoma. Then, in 2018, he was faced with a stroke and worked through recovery. We know Bob lives with a positive attitude and always takes one day at a time, with a smile and lives each day with Jesus as his center. He never stopped witnessing to others and could make you laugh in any situation. Bob has a way to lighten the mood.
In 2018, he had a stroke that hit him hard resulting in paralysis on his left side. This changed the way Bob had to adjust to living life, putting him into an assisted living facility, for the last 7 years. Still, Bob made friends and remained positive through these new trials.
In 2020, Bob was given the news his tumor had grown again and went through another craniotomy.
Bob's brother, Dave, has been an amazing support providing not only love, but Dave has been his health care executor through all these years.
In July 2025, Bob was taken to the hospital as he was experiencing strokes and breathing issues.
God always takes care of us, and has a plan that we never know about until later. At this hospital visit, Bob learned his tumor had grown and was no longer operable. Words that no one wants to hear. Bob and Dave were faced with decisions. After extensive discussion with doctors and prayer with family, Bob made the decision- he was ready to go on hospice. There is nothing left medically to be done.
Unfortunately, through unforseen life circumstances, Bob does not have life insurance. Brother Dave, will be faced with soon-to-be funeral expenses. A large burden his own family does not have the funds for.
The family is in need financially. Would you please pray and consider helping the Meador family with financial help. Any amount is a blessing that will not go unappreciated.
If financial giving is not an option, we understand. Will you please pray for Bob, for peace and rest. The days ahead won't be easy on hospice, but Bob is ready for his soul to be released from his worn out body.
Pray for Dave as he supports his brother and can continue to be an advocate. In healthcare, you know that can be a tiring job.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and thank you in advance for any support you can provide.
We love Bob, let's support him as we can!
