HELP BOB HERALD

Donation protected
My friends:

This is not a GoFundMe for myself, but rather, for a friend in need. Some of you may, and some of you may not, know Bob Herald. He was a fellow graduate of Reeths-Puffer High School, Class of 1995. Bob has fallen on hard times and is too proud to ask for help himself, but has given me his blessing to tell a bit of his story.

Bob was married and owned his own lucrative business. First, his marriage dissolved, as sometimes happens. Then, his father got sick and began suffering with dementia. Bob gave up his career and life, as he knew it, to care for his dad through extremely trying years. Although he had other family members that could help, they had their own lives and weren't able to. Although Bob knew his dad's health was failing, he didn't quite realize the extent of the damage that was being done until it was too late. His dad made some poor investments and not only lost almost everything he had, but also made questionable investments with Bob's money as well. In the meantime, the family home his parents built in 1978, and that Bob was raised in, was turned over to him, all debt included. It wasn't until his dad was on what was thought to be his deathbed that other family finally came in and took over, leaving Bob with nothing other than a house that he was financially responsible for, but with no means to pay for it. Since then, he has tried to find employment but is limited due to arthritis, back problems, and constant pain in his elbows and shoulders, limiting him from factory-type jobs. He is reaching out to agencies for help as well, but many of them are "out of funding." In the meantime, Bob's car also broke down, so now he can't even do jobs such as DoorDash or Uber. While he is doing his best to "hang on," he just keeps taking blow after blow and is feeling hopeless right now. If I could help him out more myself, I absolutely would. I just don't have the means myself. So, if you're willing to help out a guy that would 100% do the same for any of you if he was able, please consider doing so? It might just save a life and prove to Bob that there are people out there that do still genuinely care about his happiness and well-being. 100% of proceeds from this GoFundMe will be going directly to Mr. Bob Herald. If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact either myself or Bob Herald directly. Thanks so much for your time, and God bless!
