Help Bob pay for his 2 knee surgery's

Hi. My name is Bob Hoffman. I'm a single dad to my amazing son Grey who lives with me full time.  After I got home from work the other day Grey and I went to a local basketball court to shoot around a little. While we were there it started to rain and I slipped on the wet court and fractured my knee cap into multiple pieces. The doctors said that waiting to do surgery was not an option. My problem is that I have insurance for my son, but not for myself. So now I must come up with thousands of dollars out of pocket for the surgery and doctor visits, etc. During the weeks leading up to and following surgery my income went down 90%.


It's scary that something so simple and innocent as shooting baskets with my son, can turn into a traumatic leg injury complicating even the most basic tasks. Until this happened, I never realized how fast things can change, and now life as I know it looks completely different. Being a single dad, my son depends on me, now I am the one that needs help to do basic household chores. Like getting my son to and from school, driving to work and shopping. I've been unable to drive myself for weeks now. And the total recovery time is 4-6 months. Right now the most important thing is to get walking again.
I am overwhelmed by the love and kindness of my friends for helping me through this difficult time. I am blessed and thank God for all of you.
