Bob and Peggy had a dream to retire at 55 years old! They were both dedicated hard workers! Bob worked at Albertsons for 39 years while Peggy worked 32 years for San Diego Unified School District. They got their dream.....but unfortunately it fell apart when Bob was diagnosed with Parkinson’s. For the next 4 years they made trips back and forth to the Mayo Clinic for testing and studies because the medication he was prescribed were not working . After that, they decided to do a Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) on him. For a whole week we were there for testing and at the end of the week we met with the surgeon, he was upset because he said that Bob had MSA ( Multi System Atrophy) not Parkinson’s. There was nothing they could do to help him at this point so they sent us back home . We decided to come back to California and since then we have been struggling to find the right care for him.
Over the years his health has been declining and he is now bedridden and in need of a 24 hr care. This has become a financial burden to us and we would really appreciate any help!
Please keep Bob in your thoughts and prayers!
Thank you so much and God bless you all!
