Help Bob get a mobility scooter
Hi, my name is Bob Serpe, and I am 74 years old. 10 years ago, I suffered a bad fall that resulted in a broken ankle. At this time, I was not able to have surgery to fix the broken ankle until I had a surgery to fix a deformity in my foot causing an immense amount of pain. (I was not able to have both done together due to a heart condition limiting the amount of time I am able to be under anesthesia) At that time, I got my foot fused.
After healing from the surgery and various other health issues, in November 2018 I finally was able to have the surgery to fuse my ankle. The surgeon that performed the surgery, though, made a mistake that caused my ankle to become even more deformed, along with severe chronic pain.
I have since been in a wheelchair, despite repeated physical therapy. It has become increasingly hard for me to get around, especially recently after developing an ulcer on my ankle bone that became infected and extremely painful.
I am looking to raise funds to purchase a mobility scooter to enable me to get around easier, as I am unable to afford one myself due to living solely on social security income. Please consider donating to my fundraiser, every donation will be GREATLY appreciated!
