Funeral Cost for Bob Hodge.

Today around 12:30 surrounded by family our beloved Bob has passed away. We our all very sad and asking for prayers for Bob as he enters his eternal life. With a lot of family support and thought Bob has decided to go to Hospice. The decision was not an easy one for him, and he struggled with it for a few days. As of this afternoon Bob has been transfered to Brookview Healthcare in Defiance, Ohio. Where Hospice is overseeing his care their. He is to weak and unable to be cared for at home at this time. We where hoping for a transfer on Friday but unable to get transportation set up. So today that happened, and believe me it was not a good transition, but Bob is safe and at Brookview. We are very grateful for the love and support everyone is giving us through all this. We now asking for you to pray for a peaceful transition as Bob goes through this new chapter of life. The go fund me is still going to happen but as a need for help with funeral expenses. As many of you know Bob is single and on disability. He lives with our parents who are also on disability. This will be a challenge in its self. Please if you can help in anyway we would greatly appreciate it. Please know I will keep you all updated on Bob as we move forward as a family and with God's will. This was the original goal. Please read above for new update.

As most of you are aware, my brother Bob Hodge was diagnosed with cancer (multiple myeloma, a cancer of the blood) in October of 2018

Since then he has undergone radiation treatments and chemotherapy. Bob has had a really rough go during his battle with cancer and has had to have many blood transfusions.  All of this has made Bob very weak and has unfortunately caused him to be placed in a nursing home for rehabilitation. We hope to get him strong enough to come home soon.  

Some ways we can make the transition home easier and make things easier on my parents who are Bobs full time caregivers are some upgrades to my parents home including but not limited too. 

1) ramps to get Bob in and out of the house 
2) a shower rebuild so Bob can get in and out of the shower and have room to sit (he really struggles to get into the shower and is often sponge bathed) 
I’m sure there is more but these are two of the biggest issues.   I will admit I do not know if the amount I put on this will cover it or be too much, I just had to pick a number to start this page.  We really want Bob home and not in a nursing home so any help you can give will be amazing!! Know someone who can build and can donate their time?? We will love their help.  We don’t just need money, we need to get the house accessible for Bobs needs so we can get him home and my parents can take care of him better.  Thank you so much
