Help Bob Beaver battle back...

Hi, my name is Franni Rahne. Bob Beaver is my brother (in-law), and he needs our help. On Saturday, July 2nd, Bob was taken by ambulance to Grand Itasca Clinic and Hospital. They did a CT scan and found a fracture on the right side of his pelvis, but he had severe continuous pain on his left side. He was admitted to the hospital and completed an MRI where they found a ruptured disc between vertebrae 3 and 4. The ruptured material was pushing on a nerve causing pain on the left side. Since Tuesday (July 5th), it has been nothing but pain management.

On Monday, July 11th, he had a localized steroid shot at the ruptured disc. We are seeing how that will help over the following days. On the 11th, he was also released from Grand Itasca and brought to Grand Village for therapy and rehabilitation. His expected stay at Grand Village is two weeks; then it will be home for more rehabilitation. Doctors are saying it should be a full recovery, but the unexpected cost will be substantial. Bob is a father of 3 fantastic daughters (Alaina, Kalli, and Kate); he has been an outstanding member of this community and a friend to everyone he meets. Please consider giving this family a little help in their time of need. Bob is one of the best of the best.
