As many of you know, I have a hard time accepting help from anyone, but now I have to ask.

Kathy and I have run into some hard times as of late, starting back in July of last year while I was out of work on short-term disability for 2 months. We then found out that our son Hunter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. It has been a struggle to get caught up. I fell behind on my mortgage, but our provider is working with us, which is great, but our monthly payment has increased to get caught up. Due to this, we are falling further and further behind on other bills, including heating oil, electricity, and internet service needed to continue to work from home.

I hate this. I am not this person who needs help. I am the person who will help everyone who needs it. If anyone can help us, we would greatly appreciate it. We don't see the end of the tunnel.
