Help Bob and Gretchen recover from a devastating house fire.

Hello fans and friends of Bob Elsey, Gretchen Musser, and The Swimming Pool Qs.

Friday, May 2, 2025, Bob and Gretchen experienced the scare of a lifetime.

During a huge storm, a tree outside their house was struck by lightning that spiraled down the tree, hit the water line, and traveled into the house catching it on fire.

Luckily, Bob smelled smoke and went to investigate.

He discovered flames burning in the downstairs ceiling and spreading quickly.

He, Gretchen, and Sally the doggie got out safely.

The fire department was called and put the fire out before there was total destruction, but a lot was lost.

NOT HIS GUITARS!!!

Bob built the house primarily by himself, with the help of Gretchen and others.

His heart and soul are broken by this event.

In the meantime, they have to get on with life in its altered state.

He isn't able to work, so any help you can give would be a lifesaver.

Let's lift them up!
