Boaz Ngwomoya is a dedicated first-year Medicine student at Kabale University, Uganda, and I am proud to be his mentor. Recently, Boaz was offered a scholarship for a specialized intensive German Language summer program at Johannes Gutenberg University, Germany, starting in early August. This is a life-changing opportunity for him to interact with one of the strongest academic faculties in the world and enhance his German language skills, which will be crucial for his future academic and professional career.

Boaz’s dream is to specialize in Oncology in Germany after completing his first degree in Uganda. He is passionate about fighting cancer in Uganda, where there is a significant gap between patient and doctor ratios in most hospitals. By participating in this language program, Boaz will gain valuable skills and experiences that will help him make a lasting impact on medical care in his home country.

We are raising funds to cover Boaz’s travel expenses, food, accommodation, and other essentials during his stay in Germany (See proposed Budget in the Photos).
