Help Bo Get Back on the Trails

Hello everyone. My name is Nicole, Buck's girlfriend, and I am writing on behalf of the dynamic duo that are Buck and Bo. I mean.. just look at those two. 


Bo came into Buck's life a short 2 years ago on February 18th, 2014. They entered each others lives for a reason; to give eachother the best adventure buddy possible. For those of you who know, they have an incredibly special bond that goes far beyond "man's best friend". 

On October 7, 2016, Bo was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma; an aggressive form of bone cancer and very rare to find in a 2 year old dog. We started off hopeful that with amputation and some radiation, Buck and Bo would be hitting the trails again in no time. Unfortunately, and unexpectedly, we learned that the cancer had already spread to his lungs. This left Buck with the decision to let Bo keep his leg and treat him with radiation and chemotherapy; to both prolong his life and offer some pain relief. This gives Bo the life expectancy of 5-11 months and with Bo's spunk we all know he's going to fight as long as possible. The hopes are that with treatment, Bo can live out the rest of his days with as best a life as possible. We may get 5 months or we may get 15. There is no telling how long Bo dog will fight these aliens, but we want to keep him as comfortable as possible. 
With that, treatment will be an ongoing expense that already has left a hole of debt in one short week and insurance has decided not to cover anything. 

I write to you today to ask for your help in keeping Bo dog going for the long haul. Whatever you can offer to help is greatly appreciated beyond words. This is asking a lot and it's hard to reach out for help.  But if you cannot offer to help with treatment funds, please send as much loving positive energy towards Buck and Bo as you can and keep them in your prayers.
