We are The B.O. Boys, hosts of the world's most important movie box office podcast. B.O. Boy Clayton has been a member of the Screen Actors Guild for many years. He's acted in commercials and as an extra in films such as Shutter Island (where he almost scared Martin Scorsese to death on set). But most importantly, he's very behind on his SAG dues.
For years SAG let him slide with monthly bills that he would promptly ignore and shred, and continue to send him end-of-year awards screeners and screening links. The bills piled up, Clayton didn't pay, and it all worked out fine. Clayton blissfully remained a SAG member in bad standing.
That was until this September when SAG sent Clayton a notice (that he luckily read seconds before dropping it in his beloved shredder) stating that if he didn't pay his entire bill by October 31st, 2026 he would be kicked out of SAG forever. No more screening links, no web portal to vote on The Actor Award nominees, and no legal right to claim himself as a SAG member on his various online dating profiles.
Clayton now faces a brutal SAGless future if he doesn't raise $1,400 by October 31. Can he pay the bill himself? Who knows, doesn't matter. What matters is that he'd definitely prefer not to. That's where YOU come in.
Donate to pay off Clayton's overdue SAG fills and keep him a member of the Screen Actors Guild! Your money will go towards allowing a man in his mid-40s to remain in the union for a profession which he hasn't received work in over a decade. Whether or not Clayton receives a screening link for Fjord is up to your generosity. Give now, and tell your friends, because if Clayton is unable to vote for Jaafar Jackson as a nominee for Best Actor, well, it would be quite Bad, you know.
