Bluey is a 5.5-month-old kitten who came from the Palmerton Cat Project. He was one of fifteen tiny kittens, just 4.5 weeks old, found in a mobile home bathtub, born to three sister cats within days of each other. When rescued, Bluey was barely hanging on.

Today, he’s part of a loving home with a big extended family who adores him, especially his two favorite humans, a 2-year-old and a 5-year-old. Every night, he curls up beside his best friend, the 5-year-old, to sleep. He’s gentle, sweet, and a little shy, but with his brother Bingo by his side, he’s slowly come out of his shell.

Sadly, Bluey has become very sick. He was diagnosed with FIP (feline infectious peritonitis) today after 100ml of fluid had to be drained from his chest cavity. The treatment offers hope, but it’s expensive and beyond what we can manage on our own.

We’re asking for help to cover Bluey’s FIP medication and ongoing vet visits so he has a fighting chance. Any amount helps, and we’re deeply grateful for every bit of support. If we’re fortunate enough to raise more than needed, all remaining funds will be donated back to the Palmerton Cat Project, whose tireless work gave Bluey (and so many others) a second chance at life.
