Help Bluesman Brandon Santini after Surgery

Hi, my name is Tom Walbank, a blues player from Arizona. I am starting this Go Fund Me to raise money for Illinois blues musician Brandon Santini. He is going in to surgery for a spinal fusion surgery on Feb. 5th, and will be missing out on months of work/gigs while he recovers. As a fellow musician I know even if we miss two or three shows it can seriously put us behind financially, so the months Brandon will have to take to recover will have a severe impact. This is such a generous idea from Tom Walbank; and I am extremely thankful for his kindness to create this fundraiser. I have been blessed to tour the world as a professional musician for nearly twenty years, sometimes playing over 200 concerts annually. Unfortunately, I couldn't hold off any longer on getting this surgery, after several years of extreme and nagging pain that at one point kept me from sitting upright or standing for more than 3 minutes.

At any rate, I have beaten my body up in vans while traveling the roads, loading and unloading equipment, and even playing full contact sports throughout my youth...on top of admittedly being overweight for most of my life.
