Emergency Help Needed for Blue

Blue needs our help. Earlier today, Blue—a sweet, loving puppy—was hit by a car right outside his home. A kind woman driving by saw him lift his head on the side of the road and immediately called for help. Animal control located his owner, and when I saw a post online about a missing injured dog on Coffee Rd, I knew in my heart it had to be Blue. I rushed to meet them, helped load him into the car, and we headed straight to the emergency vet in Anderson, SC, where he is now receiving IV fluids, pain medication, and overnight care. Blue’s family is doing everything they can, but the cost of emergency treatment and the surgery he now needs is overwhelming. That’s why I’m creating this GoFundMe—to give him the fighting chance he deserves. ⸻

Blue’s Story Blue has already survived more in his short life than any dog should. I rescued Blue and his brother when they were only 4–5 weeks old from a home where dogs were being mistreated, starved, and bred repeatedly. They stayed with me for a few weeks until Blue’s brother went to a trusted friend. Blue remained with me a little longer until he met the family who now loves him dearly. They instantly bonded with him, and when Blue was around 10–13 weeks old, I knew he had found his forever home. Since then, Blue has battled and overcome so much. He got severe worms—not once, but twice—and his new owners treated him and nursed him back to full health. Then he got Parvo, one of the most devastating illnesses a puppy can face. But Blue is a fighter, and with the love and dedication from his owners, Goldie (“Sissy”) and her husband, he pulled through again. They are the kind of people who would go hungry just to make sure their pets are fed and cared for. Blue has survived every obstacle life has thrown at him… until now.
