Everyone thinks solar means slow. We’re student engineers building the car that proves them wrong.
We’ve taken up an extremely advanced project: a street-capable performance car that runs on nothing but sunlight it harvests itself.
Here’s the idea: our car charges using sunlight patiently for hours, stores it, then unleashes it all at once. Roughly 80 horsepower in a car under 900 pounds. Store over time. Strike hard and show the insane things that solar energy can power. No production solar car does this. No student team has built it at this level. We’re going to.
We’re not a club..we’re a student-run R&D team operating under Amanah, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit. We’ve already designed and built a full solar car from the ground up. This is our next, far more ambitious chapter.
We’re raising $20,000 to make it real: a workshop to build in, the welders and chromoly to fabricate the chassis, and the motor, controller, and battery that turn sunlight into speed. Every dollar goes straight into the build, and because we’re a 501(c)(3), your gift is tax-deductible.
This is bigger than one car. It’s proving that real performance and applicable speed can be derived from energy that simply sits in the sky all day.
Back us. Share us. Be part of the first solar car built to perform.
