Blue has been a part of our family for years. She started out as a hardworking farm dog, but now she’s retired and spends her days surrounded by love—she’s truly treated like another kid in our home. Last night, everything changed when Blue suddenly collapsed. We had no idea what was wrong, so we rushed her to the ER vet, terrified for her safety. The vets found fluid in her stomach and told us she may have cancer and heartworm. Hearing this was heartbreaking, and we’re still trying to process what it means for her and for us.
Blue has given us so much joy and comfort, and we want to do everything possible to help her through this. The ER vet bills are already adding up, and she’ll need ongoing treatment for the next two months, along with anything else that will help her have the best quality of life. We’re doing everything we can, but we can’t do it alone.
We’re reaching out to our community for help. Blue is more than just a pet—she’s family. Any support you can give will go directly to her care and make a huge difference for all of us. Thank you for reading our story and for considering helping Blue.
