We have deviated from the original plan. Blue has shown us that he wants to keep fighting and we are in it until he decides that is time. We will use the funds for diagnostics and further treatment because his quality of life is still good, he is enjoying life and now eating, so we are wining!

Blue is our beloved cat, and he was going to turn 16 on March 29th. He was my and my husband’s first pet together, and he’s been with us through so many chapters of our lives. Blue is a spooky character, the policeman of the house, always keeping an eye on everyone, but he’s also immensely loving and caring. He has a big personality and a huge love for chicken—he’d do anything for a taste!
Recently, Blue has been very sick. He’s been living with IBD, and now it may have turned into Lymphoma. This morning, he had a seizure, and our hearts are breaking knowing that we may have to say goodbye soon. We want to make sure Blue’s last moments are peaceful and filled with love, not fear. He hates vet hospitals, and we can’t bear the thought of his last experience being somewhere he’s uncomfortable.
We’re raising funds to help Blue cross the rainbow bridge at home, surrounded by the people who love him most. The support will also help with his aftercare, so he can come back to us and rest next to his brother Ozzie and sister Stella. Any help would mean the world to us and give Blue the loving goodbye he truly deserves. Thank you for caring about our family.
