Help Blue Butterfly Dance Company Recover from Damage
Blue Butterfly Dance Company, founded by Amy Fern in 2015, has been a vibrant part of our community, offering dance classes to over 300 children and adults. Their studios, located in the Swan Centre since 2019, have been a safe and inspiring space for so many.
Sadly, in the early hours of Saturday, February 8th, two studio windows were smashed—marking the second act of vandalism in the past year.
While the police have launched an investigation, the urgent repairs, estimated at over £3,000, must be completed as soon as possible to keep the space safe.
Sadly the studio pays building insurance to The Swan Centre however they are unable to claim for the cost of damage to the glazing.
This unexpected cost threatens the company’s plans for a special 10th-anniversary celebration and a planned musical theatre show in July. These events mean so much to the dancers, their families, and the wider community.
As a Blue Butterfly parent, I am launching this GoFundMe to support Amy and the studio in covering these repair costs.
Every donation, big or small, will help ensure our children continue dancing in a safe environment and that these incredible shows can go ahead.
Please donate if you can and share this page to spread the word. Thank you for your support!
