Help Blue and hoomom Kim catch up on rent

Hi. I'm Kim, I'm 54, w/ a 3 yr old Husky furbaby named Blue. I have Stage II Esophageal Cancer, along with numerous medical problems that accompany that.(and seem to be worsening as time goes by) I recently had a GFM to adopt Blue. I know doing another GFM a month later because I'm behind on my rent should deem me as unworthy of help, But I hope I can explain... I'm on a month-to-month lease. As of Mar 1, my landlord raised the rent by $200/month. I've also just been told that my disability check for Apr may be delayed and/or lowered, pending a review to see if I earned too much money on the side to still qualify. (I'm sure I haven't, but they have to check.) (And Mar's check was also later than usual) I've kept my landlord in the loop about everything, and he knows my situation....2 weeks ago, he said I could pay what/when I could, and we would work it out. That has apparently changed because I received a rather irate phone call, with him telling me that all of his tenants are late and he's no longer willing to work with anyone. Rent is paid weekly (which means 4xs a year he receives an extra week of rent...and yes, that's perfectly legal in my state) Due to the rent increase, and an extra week's rent due, food stamps being discontinued and medical expenses that I was not prepared for, I have only paid 2 wks of rent for Mar, and am worried about being able to make rent for April, esp if my disability check is reduced. I have managed to find a work-from-home job that will supplement my income while staying in the parameters set by SSI. I feel like this new job will start me on a better path financially. Unfortunately, this job will not start until 15th of April. Therefore I am humbly asking for donations to cover the 2 weeks past due for Mar, and all of April to ensure Blue and I can avoid eviction.(And I have reached out for help in my area...2 of them are willing to help in small amounts, but only after I can show I've gathered most of the money myself...their reasoning being they don't want to pay directly to the landlord only for him to evict me anyway) Thank you for reading ALL of this!
