Help Blu Get the MRI She Desperately Needs
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Destiny and I’m raising funds for my sweet dog Blu—a 2-year-old Pit Bull/Boxer mix who means the world to our family.
Blu was diagnosed with epilepsy about a year ago and has been battling seizures ever since. Recently, her condition has worsened. She just had her second emergency vet visit after suffering from cluster seizures. While she’s on medication, we still don’t have all the answers. That’s why I’m trying to get Blu to Purdue University Veterinary Hospital for an MRI—to find out if something more serious is causing her seizures.
The estimated cost for the MRI and related medical expenses is around $5,000, and as a young mom, I simply can’t afford that on my own. That’s why I’m reaching out for help—from friends, family, and anyone who believes that every dog deserves a chance to live a healthy, happy life.
Blu is not just a pet—she’s family. I adopted her from a shelter when she was just a tiny pup. I used to rock her to sleep in my arms, and even now she loves to snuggle in my lap. She’s sweet, playful, and incredibly gentle with my 1-year-old son, Shia. She also adores her fur siblings and makes sure to spread her cuddles around to everyone in the house.
Watching Blu go through seizures is heartbreaking. We feel helpless when she’s suffering, and we just want to give her the best chance at a long, healthy life. Getting her to Purdue sooner rather than later is crucial—every day we wait is a risk we can’t afford to take.
If you’re able to donate—even $5—it would mean the world to us. And if you can’t donate right now, please consider sharing Blu’s story.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts
