Help Blu Get the Life Saving Care He Needs

Hi All! We don't often ask for help, but are hoping you will feel moved by our story and consider contributing.

Our Blu is turning 12 this year. He is a Husky/Heeler mix and has recently taken a very unexpected downturn in his overall health. Before this, he has been in very good health and most people think he is much younger than he is.

We have officially depleted our emergency funds and are hoping to be able to afford to continue treating Blu as he is experiencing a rare GI issue and needs to see a specialist, which will run anywhere between $3,000-$5,000.

Those of you who have a furbaby at home know that they are truly a member of the family. Blu has seen us through 3 moves, the addition of his furbrother (Brewer), and the addition of his fursister (Nebula).

Blu is a highly intelligent dog. He has alerted us to multiple potentially life-threatening events, including when our hot water heater was leaking in our apartment, and when a fire broke out in front of the place we live. He also has been the best companion to Brewer, who is a rescue and needed lots of love, and watched over Nebula when she was recovering from her spay surgery as a kitten.

Some of Blu's favorite things include belly rubs, treats, his Alligator toy, tennis balls, and of course snow! ❄️

The only time in the past that he's had a cone was for his neuter surgery. And he used it to scoop up and eat the snow! He also loves rolling in the snow, swimming, being outside, and going for long walks or runs.

Blu is the bestest boy and still has lots of life left to live. Any amount helps and we so hope you can consider donating or sharing
