Meet Blossom, our 4 year old, tiny, majestic creature who recently decided that using her back legs was completely overrated. Due to IVDD, a spinal condition that cuts off the communication from her brain to her hind legs, our regal friend has now entered her *Lt. Dan era*.
The Current Chaos:
Don't feel bad for her. Blossom has no idea that she is technically "benched." Instead she has transformed into Princess Draggin' that Waggin', pulling herself across the hardwood floors like a fuzzy, determined land-seal to demand treats, bark at Amazon packages, and protest any usage of the cursed ceiling fan.
The Silly Truth About Rehab:
We need to fund Blossom's intense new social calendar. She is currently undergoing advanced rehabilitation, which she firmly believes is a VIP country club experience just for her.
Her medical treatments include:
- Laser Therapy - She thinks she is at an exclusive rave. She wears her fashion goggles and flirts with the vet techs.
- Pool Therapy: Her pool parties consist of a tiny toe ups, a dip in a heated pool, and walking on a treadmill floating around like royalty while praised with treats and love.
She loves the attention so much we are pretty sure she is just trying to keep up her spa appointments.
The Goal:
While she enjoys being pampered, these rave lights and pool parties are expensive, but necessary to try to get back on her feet. We are raining funds to cover her continuous laser and underwater treadmill sessions, and, if necessary, a sweet set of Hot Wheels so she can terrorize the neighborhood squirrels between spa days.
Our Target is $9,500 to return this low-riding diva in the walking business.
How to Help:
- Donate: Every dollar funds the Country Club membership (aka animal rehab hospital).
- Share: Pass this link to fellow dog lovers.
Let's get Little Lt. Dan some legs!
Thank you for stopping in and considering helping our sweet girl.
