Hey everyone!

For those short on time, TL:DR - Representing the USA in Global sports is expensive, help me make American History!

Recently I was invited to join Team USA and given a chance to compete as an athlete in Show Ju Jitsu. For those who don’t know, Show Ju Jitsu is a partner demonstration, with a focus on perfect execution of karate strikes, judo throws and Jitsu submissions. Setting these things to music and with a clear story is the name of the game. For anyone familiar with my pro wrestling career, this was a fresh spin; and a way to be graded and tested at an international level… and it went fantastic!

After winning a silver and gold medal at the Pan-American Championships, I now find myself in the World Games rankings (#9 in the world!) and preparing to compete in Thailand for the World Championships! If we are successful in earning a medal, we will be the first Americans in history to bring home some hardware at this level!!

While all of these opportunities are super exciting and have the literal chance to write American history, they are not free or low cost. Between plane tickets, hotel and competition fees; things are adding up quickly. As a dad trying to keep the example strong for 5 kids, I don’t want to limit the chances to compete and bring home inspiration, but budgets are real.

Long term, I will be hopefully looking for some corporate sponsors who want to keep the dream alive, but in the short term, any bit helps me to get this done and make history! If you can’t donate, I understand, but please share it if you can!
