Help Blinkin' Battle Feline Infectious Peritonitis
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Blinkin'! When I was a kitten I was diagnosed with a severe congenital eye disorder which caused me to lose both of my eyes. My mom helped the veterinarian with my surgery (my mom is a Registered Veterinary
Technician) and I recovered really well. Now, I am sick again. I have a severe and deadly disease called Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP). Feline infectious peritonitis is a viral disease of cats caused by certain strains of a virus called the feline coronavirus. My mom said that once a cat develops clinical FIP, the disease is usually progressive and almost always fatal without therapy. My mom and dad are doing everything they can to help me but my lab tests and medications are becoming very expensive. Right now, I am doing okay; my belly hurts and I am very tired. I love my Mommy and Daddy and they need your help.
Love, Blinkin'
My name is Katie and I am a registered Veterinary Technician in the state of Colorado. Blinkin' is my angel kitten whom I adopted after his enucleation surgery (eye-removal). I love him with all of my heart and am in desperate need for some help monetarily for his treatment. If you cannot donate, that is okay, but please leave Blinkin' a note of well wishes and I will read all of the messages to out sweet boy! We greatly appreciate any and all help we will receive. Any additional funds raised will be donated to shelters in Colorado to help other kitties that may be diagnosed with this or other deadly diseases. Thank you and I love you all!
